Today wasn't any normal day,we got to celebrate the Olympics as a school and dress like the country that we picked to go for. Our class was doing Russia, Mrs.T made hats for us to were. It was really cool because the hats looked like the Russian military. Emma and Alec brought hockey sticks for us to carry around! It was interesting to see what the other classes chose to do for their country. I thought that a pre-k class that did France was really cool because they had chef hats and mustaches. I didn't even realize that during the parade there was a news crew filming us to be on the 6:00 news! I had to leave for a doctors appointment at 9:00, so I missed some of the parade , but right before I left Mr.Newman told everyone about how he ran the torch across Wichita. I thought that someone I know had that ran the Olympic torch was really interesting.
When I got back from my doctors appointment I walked into the room just in time for Riley's mystery PowerPoint presentation. After that I did my presentation Wiley did his then Thoren and Andrew did theirs. After all of those we had to get ready for our Valentines party. The party was really fun and we got to eat all of our candy. We played bingo and I won a stuffed turtle. The party didn't last all that long because we had to go to library. After library we packed all of our stuff up and went home.
